I thought that “The Dark Knight” was one of the best movies made in the last 20 years. That seems like a pretty outrageous statement to make, especially when you consider all of the movie classics that have been released over the last 2 decades. However, I have one piece of evidence to point to that will back-up any sort of outlandish praise for that movie: Heath Ledger.

I can’t think of another actor playing such a fine roll since Dustin Hoffman in “Rain Man”… Am I wrong? You will admit that it was one of THE BEST PERFORMANCES of all times!!!

Yay, a comment from Josh Stott! How are you, my friend? I thought this might cause a bit of controversy (if one comment can be interpreted as controversy).

Eh, maybe I’m just being difficult here, but I kinda thought that Heath Ledger’s performance was one-dimensional. I personally thought that the Two-Face guy showed more range. But perhaps it’s more difficult than I realize to play someone so unhinged and crazy. I’d love to hear a comment from my actor friend, Jason Purdie. Jason?

Well, Sara, I’m not Jason, nor am I an actor, BUT from an avid movie-goer/connoisseur of good-and-truthful-acting-where-there-isn’t-the-least-hint-of-self-brayal, I totally and completely believed that Heath Ledger was The Joker! Whereas, I wasn’t impressed, in the least, with the Two-Face character… Admittedly, it would be hard to play a split personality playing alongside one of the best acting in the business (Heath)!
